But a detailed genealogy of the family reports hewas born in Sugden, Jefferson County, Oklahoma. The Social SecurityDeath Index reports the same date as the genealogy, but reports noplace of birth. The California Death Index, however, does report thatthe birth was in Texas.

I did find one which reports that the place where Adolphusmarried Lilly Dicky was Sugden. It could be that this one confusedthe place of marriage with the place of birth of Adolphus.
