He is not in his mother's household in 1860.  We find 12-year-oldGeorge living in the household of William J Estep and his wife Julia, still in Mason County, Illinois.  I have not tried to fully documentall the Estep, Norris and Jackson relations, but I believe William isthe brother of George's mother Arminda Estep.  George's olderhalf-brother Henry Norris, who was 15 in 1860, is living with anotherNorris household whom I have not clearly identified.

In 1880 we find George and Frances have moved to Mineral Township inCherokee County, Kansas.  Living with them is a William R Norris, age21.  This is no doubt George's half-brother, the William Norris listedin the household of Sylvester and Arminda in 1870, though the age doesnot match.  In 1870, William was reported as 14, but here William R is21!
