The date of death in the SSDI matches the age in the 1920 census, butnot the 1910 census.  In 1910, Manuel (with a strange attempt to spellthe name) is reported as age 4, following Minnie age 6.  Daniel isreported as age 7, matching the age of 17 reported for Manuel in 1920.

In 1910, Daniel is 7, making him born about 1903, and Minnie was 6,making her born about 1904.  If Manuel was born in January 1903,Daniel had to be born in early 1902.  Manuel is 17 in 1920 census date1 Jan, actual enumeration date 23 Feb), which would mean he had to beborn in 1902, so perhaps that solves the problem.

But remember that in 1910, Manuel was reported as 4 years old, butthen in 1920, he is 17!  That would have made him 7 in 1910, Surely a4-year-old was not reported by his parents as 7 years old.  But evenat 14 in 1920, why would the age recorded have been 17?  So somewherethere was an error in family information.

Daniel's death record from Kern County, Oklahoma, reports he was bornin December 1903.  If this is correct, the time will match for Manuelto have been born in January 1903.  But this would mean he was not yet78 as reported in the 1910 census, but only 6 years and about 4months!  Unfortunately, ages vary wildly in these censuses, indicatingthat people in this era were not focused on such detail as we havebeen accustomed  to in recent times.  Manuel would be almost a yearolder than Daniel, yet he was reported in 1910 as 3 years younger, inorder of entry -- born after 6-year-old Minnie --as well as in theactual age recorded.
